Who We Are

We are a group of dental professionals fueled by passion with a desire to empower the community through dental education.

A need for a comprehensive, accessible dental assistant training program that gave real life hands on experience was noticed. This realization sparked an idea, a solution that could not only address this gap but also provide opportunities for others interested in the dental field. And so, in 2024, our dental assisting school was formed.

Since opening, we have graduated field ready dental assistants that are more confident than some who have already been working. We want to provide opportunities for young adults, mothers, or anyone that’s interested in the dental field to start a flexible yet stable a career.

Their mission: to equip the next generation of dental professionals with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to excel. We hope to inspire others to pursue their dreams in the dental field.

  • "My journey began in high school when a career test led me to dental hygiene. I love working with people and educating them about dental care, so this field has been so perfect for me." says Sarah.

Making the transition from training to the professional world was challenging, but Sarah has now found her footing. "Transitioning from school to work was tough, but now that I am well established in my industry I’ve found a great work - life balance that is ideal for my family. I’ve been in the dental field since 2013 and have loved what it has helped me accomplish." she admits.

Her passion for patient education and quality care is evident in her commitment to her patients. "Patient education is a key part of my role, and it's a part that I take very seriously. I want everyone to understand the importance of good oral health and feel comfortable coming to see me," Sarah states. Her dedication to her profession and her community is truly inspiring.

  • “I have been working as an RDA since 2023. It has been a great job that has given me stability while still having flexibility to enjoy my life and pursue other interests. I have been working full time while attending college. I love working directly with patients and enjoy the experience dental assisting has given me. I highly recommend dental assisting to anyone as a career or step towards their next goal.”

  • Griselda, a dedicated dental professional who started her journey in the field in 2012. "One of my good friends was an RDA then went to school for hygiene. I liked her flexible schedule and the idea of being able to advance if interested," Griselda shares about her initial attraction to the profession.

"The struggle I remember would be that I didn’t feel like I was trained or equipped enough to have the confidence to give the patients my best," Griselda admits.

Now, after 11 years in the field, life has changed significantly for Griselda. "I have been able to have a career and be a part of my three kids' lives. I've also used my skills to the max by applying them to starting this academy.

Griselda sees a chance to give back to her community through being an instructor. "I feel like it will be a great opportunity for young adults, mothers, or anyone that’s interested in the dental field to start a career," she says. Her dedication to her profession and her passion for empowering others to follow in her footsteps is truly inspiring.

  • “My interest in dentistry began at a young age. I have now been working as a RDA since 2023. I earned my license in high school and started working right after graduating, where I fell in love with the field, the hands-on work, and being able to care for patients - experiences that inspired me to continue growing my career. I am now a student in the UT Health Dental Hygiene Program and continue to work part-time as an RDA, doing what I truly love.”

  • “I love being a dental assistant because it allows me to combine my passion for healthcare with hands-on patient care and teamwork. My journey began while attending U of H for my undergraduate studies, where I discovered how meaningful it is to help patients feel comfortable and confident in their smiles. Everyday, I’m proud to be part of a profession that truly makes a difference. “
